The concept of soul food being whole food melds together the chasm between what is nutritious and delicious. Africans across the Diaspora have traditionally eaten a plant based diet that I am excited to share. I am an award winning writer and a well traveled, food/social justice advocate who grew up eating an African Heritage Diet. I’ve been cooking most of my life, 35 of those years devoted to healthy eating. Whether from farms and gardens, or ghettos and favelas, fresh, flavorful ingredients are essential to a full, robust life. Follow me on Instagram and Pinterest @collardsaretheoldkale.

Thanks,

Robin
