Elderflower Gin & Tonic

Since my freshman year in college, gin and tonic has been signature my drink. So, it was a serendipitous coincidence to discover that gin alone was relatively good for what ails us and is historically known as a healthy spirit. The tonic water I knew so well used to be therapeutic because it had contained quinine but most tonic waters are made with a lot of sugar these days so buyer beware. I made a twist on my old friend that is pretty great – an Elderflower Gin & Tonic.
Fentimans Sparkling Wild English Elderflower Soda is the ideal accompaniment to the long standing, beloved British beverage. Low in calories and made from juniper berries which are good for the digestion, gin actually originated in Holland. Produced at the oldest distillery in Holland, Nolet’s Silver Gin is extra spectacular because it contains no carbs. This superior spirit is also NON GMO Project certified and sugar free too. If like me you are a gin connoisseur, then you should most certainly please check out my Winter Blues Gin Cocktail as well. Serve alongside Granny’s Deviled Eggs – any good host would.

This cocktail was delicious! The perfect ratio of alcohol and juice. I’m definitely going to be making this for my family over the holidays!
Wow! I need to explore more cocktails like this since I’m always drinking my go-to wine or margarita. This not only sounds delicious but it looks delicious too!
I love all gin cocktails, but the addition of elderflower in this one made it a big favorite for me. I’ll be making this often.
This elderberry gin and tonic is so good, we have it on rotation in our home. Thank you!!
I love G&Ts and this recipe reminded me of one I tried years ago. Thanks for bringing it back into my rotation!
