Please don’t fret – 94% of people worldwide who have contracted the COVID-19 Coronavirus have recovered. Which is not to say we should not be vigilant about washing our hands and covering our mouths when we cough or sneeze – those edicts have never been in question. The other point that has never been in contention is that eating plenty of vegetables and fruits strengthens the immune system which also helps us combat viruses. The African Heritage Diet is comprised of mostly vegetables and fruit so here is another lovely take on cabbage, a cruciferous favorite that not only helps prevent a variety of cancers but has shown to improve the behavior of autistic boys in just weeks, becoming more verbal and social. Let us be well! Enjoy Caribbean Cabbage with Green Sauce Salmon or Red Beans & Tri-Color Quinoa if you’re vegan.
